Multifunctional Electrospun Nanofbers dressings also promote wound healing by promoting angiogenesis and accelerating extracellular matrix (ECM) production. The utilization of Prominin-1 derived peptide (PR1P) and oregano essential oil (OEO) in the dressing enhances its biological functions, including enhancing angiogenesis and providing a favorable environment for tissue regeneration.


Together, these mechanisms contribute to the multifunctional fiber dressing's ability to prevent adhesions and promote wound healing in the treatment of infected wounds.
