The 7th China-Europe Symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine (CESB 2019) will be held in Guangzhou from May 10th to 13th, 2019.

The theme of this conference is "Innovation & Collaboration". Famous experts in the field of biomaterials in China and Europe will give conference reports and special lectures, covering various new biomaterials for tissue repair and regeneration, nanomaterials and nanomedicine, drug delivery and carriers, immunotherapy, bioimaging and molecular probes wait.

The China-EU Biomaterials Conference is jointly organized by the Chinese Society for Biomaterials and the European Society for Biomaterials every two years. Over the years, it has been successfully held six times in Suzhou, Barcelona (Spain), Nanjing, Sorrento (Italy), Hangzhou, and Porto (Portugal). This conference was organized by the National Human Tissue Functional Reconstruction Engineering Technology Research Center of South China University of Technology, the Key Laboratory of Biomedical Materials and Engineering of the Ministry of Education, the Guangdong Key Laboratory of Biomedical Engineering, the School of Biomedical Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology, and Materials Science and Engineering. The School of Engineering is responsible for the undertaking.

The honorary chairpersons of the conference are Professor Zhang Xingdong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Professor Luigi Ambrosio, former Chairman of the European Society for Biomaterials. The chairpersons of the conference are Professor Yingjun Wang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor Xiaobing Fu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Professor Pamela Habibovic, Chairman of the European Society for Biomaterials.

Electrospinning is used to prepare ordered nanofibers. The electrostatic field is used to spray the solution droplets into a spinning jet, and the linear stable jet is used for orderly and controllable deposition of ordered nanofibers. There is no residual solvent problem in electrospinning, and the direct writing structure is controllable. It is widely used in artificial vascular stents, nerve catheters, load fibers, functional drugs, skin repair, and repair of difficult-to-heal wounds. During the exhibition, welcome to the Lepton booth (Nanhu Hall, 3rd Floor, Huagong University Town Center Hotel) to visit and exchange. We sincerely look forward to meeting you in Guangzhou!
